About Us
Knowledge Is Light Foundation was officially incorporated as a Florida 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2023. However, the group's founders have been involved in our mission for over 5 years.
We are a nonprofit organization with the intention of educating women & girls about our beautiful deen (religion). In addition to teaching the core principles of Islam, we also focus on mentoring and empowering our students to live their life according to the Quran & Sunnah and to understand their worth and identity in Islam.
Our Mission
As the need for providing Islamic education and mentorship for girls and women grows, Knowledge Is Light Foundation seeks to provide Islamic education, mentoring, and leadership empowerment to women & girls in the United States & neighboring regions.

Alimah Sabrina has been a teacher for girls and women since 2018 and has taught in the Orlando, Kissimmee, Saint Johns, and Saint Augustine area.

She has led Quran and Islamic Studies programs for youth, women halaqahs (gatherings), and currently leads and teaches our online courses.
